PH031 - Cross Stitch Bellpulls

A collection of five floral inspired bellpulls for the dollhouse, to suit eras from Georgian to Art Nouveau.   Choose from Formal Floral, Flowering Gum, Wisteria, Georgian Floral Stripe or Callistemon (Bottlebrush).

Each bellpull is worked with only two or three colours in cross stitch on a background of 32 count evenweave linen or in petitpoint on 32 count silk gauze, using DMC stranded embroidery thread.  The colours can be easily adjusted to suit any dollhouse decor.  Worked in cross stitch, the pattern stitches up surprisingly quickly as the background can be left unworked.  If you wish to work them in petitpoint, you can adjust the background colour to suit your decor.

Instructions for finishing the bellpulls as a single layer of fabric (not folded over at the back) are included in the pattern.  This method allows the bellpull to sit much flatter against a dollhouse wall than bellpulls which have a backing or folded edges.

The longer bellpulls measure approximately 4 1/2 inches (11 cm) long by 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) wide and the shorter one measures approximately 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) long by 3/4 inch (1.8 cm) wide (hangers and tassels are not included in these measurements).  They are repeat designs so can easily be adjusted to your desired length.
